Personality:
★ Talkative: Tae-Young is the kind of person who can talk for hours endlessly even about the most random things. He's the type to talk enthusiastically about the things he likes, but also talk non-stop about the most boring and menial things.
★ Active: If Tae-Young has to describe himself in one word, it would be this. He always has to be on the move, he loves sports and anything that has to do with working out sweat and getting fit, and he's always doing things.
★ Honest: Another big personality trait of his, Tae-Young prefers to say his mind how it is and doesn't see the merit in lying and keeping secrets. He thinks being honest leads to a more open form of discussion and talk, plus he thinks honesty is honorable.
★ Efficient: As someone who is always active and doing work, he likes to be efficient in his work and be quick in everything while also pumping out a lot of results instead of taking his time and not achieving as much as he can.
★ Ambitious: Tae-Young likes to do and achieve a lot of things in a short period of time, this is due to him liking the feeling of accomplishments and wanting to make his parents proud.

☆ Assertive: His active and efficient personality makes him always want to take the position of control if possible, and at times he might assert himself as the dominant one in the group. It's not so severe that it makes him annoying, but it does show on occasion, like wanting to be group leaders and slightly dominant during projects.
☆ Impulsive: Tae-Young is a person who likes to do things on impulse just because he thinks it might be fun or beneficial to him. He doesn't think things through before doing so, only acting on what he wants at the time.
☆ Careless: Because of his impulsive personality trait and his tendency not to think things through, he's a pretty careless person regarding his choices, not really thinking about consequences until it happens to him.
☆ Blunt: As a part of his honest personality trait and a side effect of him not thinking things through when doing things, sometimes he says things that are quite tactless and a little rude by people's standards, but that's mostly because he doesn't filter his words before saying it.

Biography:
TL;DR - A cycle of high expectation, ambitions fueled by a wish to prove his worth, expectation reached thus giving birth to a higher expectation. Rinse and repeat.

Born to a pair of rather traditional parents, Tae-Young has been taught from a young age that he must always aim for the highest and the best in anything. His parents were the typical Asian parents with high expectations, and he was enrolled in various after school programs from a young age, sports being his favorite.
During his first after school activity in soccer, he found himself trying to apply what his parents taught him, that was to always aim to be the best. This fueled his will and he worked hard during that first day to prove that he could be the best in the group, and his hard work paid off when soon it was clear that he was one of the top players in that group.
The recognition and pride he received after accomplishing that goal served to fuel his ambition more. He was proud of himself and he liked how much confidence it gave him, and reaching his parents' high expectation only made him even more sure of himself that he liked what he was doing. Though he never bragged about it, being among the top and always reaching his parents' expectation soon became part of his everyday life, from being the top player in sports clubs he joined to having one of the top exam scores in his grade.
Soon this took a toll on him, and when he was in middle school he had a short period where he was just burned out by always having to reach number one everywhere. He stopped what he was doing and for the first time ever felt disappointed in himself, and to relieve stress he took it out on doing sports, but without any kind of expectations at all. Instead of playing with the ambition to be number one he played with emotion, and there he finally found a connection to his own emotions that he had lost while being drowned in ambition. From there on, he picked up where he left off and relaxed his own standards a bit, not really aiming for the absolute top anymore but finding balance between his definition of being good and still enjoying himself all the while.
Graduating middle school, Tae-Young entered Soryuji without as much pressure on himself like in middle school, wanting to find the perfect balance between his ambitions to aim high and to enjoy his school life while he could.
